Linda Eva Taylor, 79, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on the morning of October 18, 2019 at her home. Linda was born on April 13, 1940, in Lexington, Mississippi. She was one of 9 children born to Frank Weatherall and Olivia Alexander.

The Weatherall Family moved to Kansas City Kansas in 1947. Linda attended Douglas Elementary, Northeast Jr High, graduating from Sumner High in 1956. She also graduated from The University of Kansas Medical Center as a Registered Nurse. She retired from the medical field in 1990.

In 1961, She was united in marriage to Charles A Taylor, Jr. To this union 3 children were born.

The Family attended Grandview Assembly of God and First Church of the Nazerene.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 5 siblings, Lawrence Weatherall and Earlene Hunter Weatherall both of California and Paul Weatherall of Kansas City Missouri.

She leaves to mourn, two sons, Charles A. Taylor, III and Karl V. Taylor, one daughter, Vonda K. and son in law Gregory Johnson, 4 granddaughters Lecisha, Brittany, Karla and Cierra, and 11 great grandchildren. 2 sisters, Eloise Rice and Verna Jean Mason of Kansas City,Mo., 1 brother James H. Weatherall of California., 1 brother-in-law Dr.Vernon Rice of Kansas City, Mo and many,many relatives and friends that she adored.

Service Information:

Visitation will be 11AM-1PM, Friday, October 25 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; private burial at a later date in Leavenworth National Cemetery.
