Vivian Dorothy Taylor, 95, of Raytown, MO, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on October 30, 2022. Visitation from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, with funeral services immediately following on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO 64138. Burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Vivian was born July 28, 1926, daughter to Freda A. Gray (Hartman) and Edgar L. Gray, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from East High School 1943. Vivian married the love of her life, Lloyd H. Taylor, on May 2, 1947. They were married until Lloyd’s death in September of 2010. She worked for Sears & Company as a Mail Order Supervisor until just after her first child was born. Vivian was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed many hobbies including bowling, ceramics, card playing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Vivian is preceded in death by her husband of over 63 years, Lloyd.Vivian is survived by her brother, Donald Grand. Her children and their spouses, Susan MacDonald, James and Roni Taylor, Karil and Lionel Candelaria, Tomas and Melody Taylor; 11 grandchildren and their spouses; Jamie Rae Whiteside and her spouse James Whiteside, Taylor MacDonald and his spouse Shanon MacDonald, Sean Taylor and his spouse Megan Taylor, Audrey Ebbrecht and her spouse Justin Ebbrecht, Jacob Taylor and his spouse Chrissy Taylor, Nicole Candelaria, Lionel Michael Candelaria Jr and his spouse Ashlee Candelaria, Johnathan Candelaria, Mindy Gray, Jenifer Boyer, Jesse Gray and his spouse Leah Gray. 17 great grandchildren; Willow Whiteside, Laurel Whiteside, Briar Whiteside, Eden Whiteside, Rosemary MacDonald, Ivy Taylor, Phoebe Taylor, Darcy Taylor, Ezekiel Taylor, Taran Ebbrecht, Samuel Taylor, Sequoia Taylor, Luca Candelaria, Samantha Penralie, Ayden Boyer, Addyson Boyer, Grayson Boyer. and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
For 95 years she lived a blessed life on earth, she now is in the hands of our Lord.
