Louise Mildred Terry

Louise M. Terry, 91, passed away November 22, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Louise was born in Smyth County, Virginia, to William and Goldie (Fox) Poston, the eldest of 13 children. She was married at age 17 to Carl H. Terry, and they moved to Missouri in 1961. They were blessed with five children. Louise was a 50-year member of the Country Club Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed visiting the casinos and especially the penny slots.

Along with her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Carl; one son, Eddie; four brothers and a sister. Survivors include children, Janice Hess (Jerry), Carl Terry Jr., Glenn Terry (Diane) and Neva Crippen. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by services at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, November 27, at the Park Lawn Chapel, 8251 Hillcrest Road, Kansas City, MO. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Crossroads Hospice.
