Mark Edward Thompson

Mark Edward Thompson, 59, of Kansas City North, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2019, at NorthCare Hospice House with loved ones at his side.

Mark was born November 16, 1960, in Bethany, MO, the eldest of two children of Eddie Nelson and Janice Juanita (Turley) Thompson. His father preceded him in death. Mark graduated from Pensacola (FL) High School and served in the US Navy. His career with the US Postal Service spanned the past 25 years.

Survivors include his children, Brandi Balducci, Brett Balducci and Amanda Thompson; grandsons, Brandon, Ryan and Aaron; fiance', Lorrie Balducci; mother, Janice Thompson; sister, Kimbra Courtright; nieces, Hollie, Danielle, Taylor, and their families; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Mark's life at 3:00 pm, on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty.
