Jr. Roscoe James Tichenor

Roscoe James Tichenor, Jr. died May 3, 2018 at the age of 80 in Peoria, AZ. Ross was born March 22, 1938 to Roscoe Tichenor, Sr. and Rose Marie (Savala) Tichenor in Kansas City, KS. He worked his career at Ford Motor Co., retiring in 1991. Ross was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sun City West where he served as a Deacon. He loved to travel, fly and spend time with family and friends. Ross was married to Ann (Faulkner) Tichenor for 41 years. He also leaves two children: Jerry Tichenor (Joyce) and Mark Tichenor (Karen); five step children: Dale Walters (Kathy), Marsha Anderson, Phyllis Strobel (Greg), Joe Walters and Darin Walters; 14 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren; and a sister, JoAn Elder. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Robert Tichenor and sister, Rosemary Hunter. Visitation will begin at 10 am immediately preceding the funeral service at 11am, on Saturday May 12, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel in Liberty, MO. Burial will follow the service at Antioch Cemetery in Holt, MO. In lieu of flowers family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
