June Darlene Van Camp, 81, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on April 17, 2021, at home in Liberty, MO.

June was born September 29, 1939, in Clinton, MO, the youngest of four children of Cornelius and Laura (Bailey) Johnson. Along with her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Albert M. Van Camp; a brother and a sister.

June worked as a Machine Operator for Tension Envelope for more than 30 years. She was an active member of Gracemor Christian Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Ararat Ladies Without Nobles and the Red Hat Society. Above all June was a devoted wife, mother, Nannie to her grandsons and GiGi to her great grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Connie Stevenson (Chris); grandsons, Adam Whitham (Adrianna) and Anthony Whitham (Natalie); great grandchildren, Brionna, Mayce, Riley, Andrew, Reed and Audria; sister, Anna Marie Stewart; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Friday, April 23, and funeral services 10:30 am Saturday, April 24, all at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO. Burial in Glenridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Ararat Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund or to Gracemor Christian Church.
