Vicki Main Hollingsworth

Vicki Main Hollingsworth, 61, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 N. State Route 291, Liberty, MO 64068. A visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Vicki was born on May 7, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roy Lee and Betty Jean (McDonald) Main. She graduated from Turner High School in Kansas City, Kansas. She received her degree as a paralegal and a beautician. She often would work with her parents as a beautician in their family business. She was the office manager for Honda Yamaha North in North Kansas City, Missouri where she met Douglas Hollingsworth. The two were united in marriage on July 20, 1996 in Grain Valley, Missouri and were happily married for 27 years. She later worked for the IRS in Kansas City in the customer service department.

Vicki loved working in her garden and taking care of her horse and dog. Her and Doug would go to the lake often in the summer months and she greatly enjoyed cooking and teaching her son Travis to cook.

Vicki is survived by her husband Doug Hollingsworth; son Travis Wiederstein and his wife Taylor; and grandchildren, Jack and Eleanor Wiederstein.
