Glenn E. Vinson

Glenn Edwin Vinson, 86, was born August 9, 1931. He died peacefully Thursday, May 3, 2018 at The Groves in Independence, MO. Glenn graduated from East High School in 1949. He met Peggy that same year. They were happily married for 67 years. Glenn was a devout Catholic and father. He was a successful real estate broker and an avid antique car collector. He and his family enjoyed many camping trips together. Glenn is survived by his beloved wife, Peggy Vinson; children Linda Chastain; Scott Vinson; Jerry Vinson; Mike Vinson; 6 grandchildren; and sister Marybeth Schmidt. He was preceded in death by his daughter Lee Ann Dandorf, granddaughter Betsy Dandorf and sister June Bisacca.

Visitation will be 10AM, with Mass of Christian burial at 11AM, Tuesday, May 8 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lees Summit Rd.; burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
