Margaret S. Vits

Margaret Soong Vits, 93, was born February 28, 1928, and passed away January 31, 2022, at Benton House of Staley Hills.

She met William H. Vits while dancing at the YMCA, and they fell in love, were married, and had two children.

Margaret was a retired Radiologist at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. She was a member of the Chinese Club of Kansas City and enjoyed playing ping pong and tennis.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Terry Vits; daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Matt Peters; and granddaughter, Ciarra Peters.
