William J. Vohs

William J Vohs, 90, passed away at home in his favorite chair on August 7, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. William served in the Air Force from 1950-1953 and worked at Commerce Bank from age 16-62. Bill attended Bethany Baptist Church on Sundays with his sister. He enjoyed working on cars, scouring estate sales for bargains, and watching NASCAR and football. Bill looked forward to hosting the family's annual Thanksgiving gathering, weekly lunches with his sisters and brother-in-law, Sunday dinners with his daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren, as well as spending time with family and friends. He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly James and Christine Dunfield, sisters Donna Lane and Betty Bliss, son-in-law Stacey James, grandchildren William and Kara James, brother-in-law Bob Bliss, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 12PM, with services to follow at 1PM, Thursday, August 11 at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., Kansas City, Missouri; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
