Carla was a warm and kind person, always ready for a conversation. She is the only person I know who cheered for the OK Thunder and I enjoyed chatting with her about her teams. May she find rest.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Carla and her husband. I had the pleasure of knowing Carla for many years when the life department reported to me. She would work late many days and I had wonderful conversations with her as we were leaving the office. She was always willing to do whatever was needed to help the department and get the job done. Her breadth and depth of experience were great assets. My deepest sympathy goes to her family.

I was devastated by the news of Carla & Ralph’s passings. Carla & I had been co-workers for years, so we naturally shared all the family interactions regarding our husbands, kids & pets. I always got along with Carla, because she spoke her mind & many times said what I might have held back. I also trusted her because I knew she was dependable & fair in everything she did for her family & for us she considered friends. Nearly every day, I think of something else that reminds me how much I will miss her. Some things we shared are too personal for a public message. Rest in peace, Carla. I look forward to our heavenly reunion. I’ll know you as soon as your dogs bark at my entering. I might be delayed, but get the banquet ready.

So sorry to hear about Carla and Ralph. I sat close to her in the office and always enjoyed her stories about her dogs and grandkids. She was always friendly and ready to help when I had any questions.

A sad time for me as my only cousin I ever had has gone to fly with the angels. Will miss you and Ralph. I am glad to have spent time with you. Rest peacefully.

I’m so saddened to hear of Carla’s passing. We hadn’t know each other long, about one year but I knew she was a very kind and genuine person. We met through a mutual friend Jill Kail. Oh my sweet friend, fly with the angels and your sweet furbabies. We will miss you here, but know one day we will see each other again.

Carla and I met at work years ago and became fast friends. We used to go watch the Nace Brothers together! I moved away but we kept in touch over the years. I'm so sad. Rest in peace sweet friend. 💜💜💜

Carla was my cousin, really the only one I kept in contact with. I just knew she was always going to be there. I'm feeling a bit lost, now. I am very happy to hear that she was so well loved and appreciated.

I am a friend and classmate of Carla’s and have known her since she was about 8 years old. We became very close in are early teen years. I hung out with her and her Mom on weekend’s. In recent years we had discussed doing some traveling in our retirement. I will miss Carla terribly, she is gone way too soon.

Carla was a wonderful woman and a loyal friend. When I joined Life Claims, she was one of the first people I met in the department. From there it blossomed into a great friendship that I have cherished. We would go to lunch all the time together downtown. Our favorite places were Grinders and Jack Stacks. We would talk about life. She would show me pictures of her grand babies and what her family, Ralph, and Kaylee were up to. She was a great listener and I will really miss her humor. I used to joke with her that she was my work-mom so one year for Christmas I bought her a necklace that said Mom. I’ll never forget that it almost made her cry when I gave it to her. I will miss that relationship I had with her. She’s someone I loved dearly. My heart goes out to Ashley and her family. Both Carla and Ralph will be missed.

I knew Carla from high school when she was a student and I was a teacher/high school counselor. (Small school district). She was a delightful student. Years later, she showed up at school with a bouquet of flowers for me after hearing of my upcoming retirement. Facebook kept us connected through these past few years. She had become such a caring person, both for their several pets but also for her husband's increasing needs. I'm so sad she won't get to enjoy retirement. Even at 62 she was much too young to go. Believe this virus is evil!
