Bobby Thomas Watson, 86, of the Kansas City Northland, and formerly of LaSalle, IL and Malden, MO, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2022, at North Kansas City Hospital with loved ones at his side.

Bobby was born April 6, 1936, in Portageville, MO to Robert and Alice (Kimble) Watson. Bobby worked many years as a Welder and Mechanic for Mobil Chemical Company in DePue, IL and later owned and operated Bob's Tire and Auto Sales in Malden, MO before he retired.

Bobby was preceded in death by five brothers, Robert Shan, Bill Shan, Henry Watson, J.C. Watson and Wayne Watson; and three sisters, Novella Taylor, Ruby Parks and Pansy Ruth Ruby. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Louise (Stiffel) Watson; children, Jimmy Watson (Karen) of Oglesby, IL and Cynthia Sumner (Larry) of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Anthony Watson, Amanda Watson, Bobby Sumner (Sara) and Aprille Faucher (Kyle); great grandchildren, Ryan, Cheyenne, Elliot, Esther, Oliver, Truett, Charlton, Reagan, and a ninth great grandchild due in February 2023. Bobby also leaves two siblings, Mary Helen Haney of Springfield, MO and Gayle Watson (Pat) of LaSalle, IL; as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Bobby was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Bobby's life at 11:00 am, on Saturday, September 10, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty, MO.
