James Martin “Jimbo” Wayman, age 67, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019, in his beloved town of Raytown.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm, Friday, August 9, 2019, at Park Lawn Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm at the chapel.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hugh and Maxine Wayman and brother, William Wayman.

Left to cherish his memory: his wife of 39 years Sheryl; his children: Stephen (Adrienne) Wayman, Megan Schlotterback, Kenneth (Carmen) Wayman, Jennifer Wayman, Rosanna (Mike) Johnson, Jeffrey Wayman. 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The kids all loved their “Papa Jimbo”.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Boy Scouts of America for their campership scholarships.

Jim was such a great guy..I always enjoyed working with him on the Railroad.He was family to all of us on the Union Pacific. He always talked about his family..He loved them with all his heart and was very Proud of his wife and all his kids and grand kids..He will be missed by many..May you rest in peace my friend..Till we meet again..High Ball Jimbo..
