Morris H. Weedin

Morris Hudson Weedin, of Waverly, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at Research Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.

Morris was born on January 12, 1939 in Lafayette County, Missouri, to John Adron and Gladys Marie (Burgess) Weedin. He attended school in Waverly and graduated from Santa Fe R-X in 1957. He was united in marriage to Elizabeth (Betty) Jean Myerson on September 15, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri. This union was blessed with two sons, Eric and Russ.

Morris was employed at General Motors from 1959 through 1990.

He is survived by a son, Russell Paul (Kim) Weedin, and grandchildren Stephen, Kristen and Austin Paul: daughter-in-law Kim Davis Weedin and granddaughters Brooke and Alesha; one sister, Francis Ann Hilbrenner, one brother, Norman (Marie) Weedin, Sister-in-law, Odetta Weedin and cousins June (Burgess) Hinz, Anna Mae (Weedin) Closterman, Susie (Burgess) Sanders, and Wayne Burgess ; numerous nieces and nephews; and four great grandchildren, Keegan M. Clark, Arya M. Hercules, Alayah A. Wright and Kinzley R. Hercules.

Morris was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, both parents, three brothers, Douglas, Kenneth and Glenn and one son, Eric Hudson Weedin.
