Steven D. West

Steven David West, 66, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away November 14, 2021, at Liberty Hospital.

Steven was born September 26, 1955, in Kansas City, MO the son of Robert D. and Betty M. (Estrada) West. He was a graduate of Ruskin High School and later attended Johnson County Community College. He retired from UPS and later worked for Fleming Foods and Triumph Foods in St. Joseph.

Steven's father preceded him in death. He leaves his wife of 22 years, Laura; children, Jacinda, Nathaniel and Felicia, and their families; step daughters, Ashley and Stephanie, and their families; mother, Betty West; brother, Daniel West; and sister, Teresa Mullins; other family and friends, including his best friend Shoogy, his English Springer spaniel.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 20, at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Raytown, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
