William Robert Willming

William "Bill" Robert Willming, 88, Liberty, MO, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at The Laurel at Norterre. Bill was a beloved son, husband, stepfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Bill was born November 5, 1936, in Slater, MO to Raymond and Irene Willming. He served in the Missouri National Guard for many years. After moving to Kansas City, MO he began working for Southwestern Bell and retired after 33 years. 

Bill married Nancy Willming on February 28, 1986. He loved to fish and was an excellent craftsman. Bill's many projects will live on in his family member's homes. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Irene Willming, and stepfather Clarence Griffis; brother James. 

Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Nancy of the home, stepchildren, Mike (Kim) Philpot, and Patty (Roger) Neth; grandchildren, David (Becky) Neth, Jacob (Jenn) Neth, Becca (Cary) Silverman, Sarah (Brian) Smith, Emily Philpot, and Thomas Philpot; great-grandchildren Layla, Nick, Cora, Bennett and Amelia. The family would like to thank the staff at The Laurel at Norterre for their care.

 A graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Glen Ridge Cemetery (B Hwy and Shepherd Rd, Liberty, MO 64068) .
