Alice Marie (Cole) Williams

Alice Marie (Cole) Williams, 88, a longtime Liberty resident, passed away August 10, 2018 at Liberty Hospital. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a service celebrating Alice's life at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, August 15, at Second Baptist Church, Liberty. Burial will follow in Glenridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial are suggested to the church.

Alice was born March 6, 1930, in Platte County, MO, the daughter of George and Lucy Cole. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. Alice worked many years for Sears and Roebuck and later was a hostess at Trails Inn Restaurant in Liberty. She was an active member of Second Baptist Church.  Along with her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Irvin, and sister, Mary Kretzschmer.  Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Cheryl Williams of Gladstone; brother and sister-in-law, John and Pat Cole of Liberty; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.

Visitation: 10:00-11:00 am on Wednesday, August 15, at Second Baptist Church, Liberty.

Celebration of Alice’s Life: 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 15, at Second Baptist Church, Liberty.

Burial: Glenridge Cemetery.
