Ruth L. Williams

Ruth Laurene Williams, 89, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away December 15, 2021. Visitation begins at 10:00 am, followed by services at 11:00 am, Monday, Dec. 20, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, Liberty. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kearney. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association or Fair Haven Children’s Home.

Ruth was born in Wright County, Missouri on September 29, 1932 to Cecil and Pearl Gaddis. She married Herschel Williams in 1951. She worked as a homemaker and accounting clerk. Ruth was a member of Liberty Church of Christ.

Along with her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her siblings; James (Winifred), Kenneth (Vivian), Carl, Gladys (Claude) and Jack. She is survived by her children Nancy and David (Patti); grandchildren Patrick (Kristin), Melissa, and Andy; great-granddaughters, Delaney and Kennedy; sister Evelyn; sisters-in-law Dixie and Louise; brothers-in-law, Jack and Gilbert (Margaret); as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
