John Michael “Mikey” Williamson

John Michael "Mikey" Williamson, 20, joined his Heavenly Father and loved ones who preceded him on February 27, 2022.

Mikey was born January 24, 2002, in Overland Park, KS, the son of Melanie and John "Mike" Williamson. He grew up in Lenexa and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 2020, where he was a proud Viking on the varsity football and baseball teams. Mikey was a Supervisor at UPS and in his free time had a passion for anything outdoors, especially fishing. Mikey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lenexa.

Mikey was welcomed to Heaven by grandparents, Donna and Roy Miller, and Jack Neal Williamson. He also joins his beloved Boston Terrier, Maggie Mae.

Along with his mom and dad, Mikey leaves his sister, Kayla Williamson; nephews, Hudson, Holland, Harrison and Jack; grandmother, Jan Williamson; aunts and uncles, Jack and Beth Williamson, Steve and Brenda Williamson, Deanna Parker and John Logan, Kerri and Ernest Truitt, Mike and Melinda Miller; as well as many cousins, other family members and countless friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:45 am, followed by his funeral service at 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 5, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Lenexa Stake Center, 21515 West 101st Street, Lenexa, KS 66215. Private committal will be at Resurrection Cemetery.
