Irene T. Wilson

Irene T. Wilson of Belton, Missouri passed into the presence of her God and Savior Jesus Christ on July 17^th, 2019 at St. Luke’s East Hospital having reached the age of eighty-eight years. She was born on November 10th, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter to the late Robert Lee Nicoll and the late Marie Estelle (Cline) Nicoll. She worked as the Secretary to the President of Goppert Bank, as the Office Manager for Vivomortgage Co., and retired in 1994 as the Office Manager for Grandview Healthcare. She loved fishing and boating at the Lake of the Ozarks. She was a Lay Leader at Yeager Union Church at the Lake and was devoted to daily times of scripture reading, memorization, devotions, and prayer. For over 10 years, she was a devoted caregiver for her late husband who suffered from Alzheimer’s.

Irene is survived by her son Robert Wilson and wife Kathie, her daughters Pattie Hurley and husband Mike, Susan Wilson and fiancé Jeff Nault; her grandchildren Robert Frank, Tracy Amos, Roberta Salzman, Christina Murkin, Josh Wilson, Anthony Cross, Heather Davis, Jeremy Dull, Angela Brunner, and Kristen Davis; her thirty-five great-grandchildren; and her three great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband of 69 years, parents, and sibling, Irene is preceded in death by grandson Jeffrey Frank and great-grandson Barry Frank.

Funeral service for Irene will be held at 12:30 PM on Monday, July 22^nd, 2019 at the Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO with Rev. Josh Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 21^st, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Park Lawn.

Interment will take place after the funeral service at Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri.

Honoring Irene by serving as her Pallbearers are Von Amos, Anthony Cross, Jeremy Dull, Robert Frank, John Murkin, Eric Salzman, and Jerry Chaussey.

Visitation will be 2-4PM, Sunday, July 21, with services to be held 12:30PM, Monday, July 22, both at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd.; burial in Floral Hills Cemetery.
