Nancy C. Wilson

Nancy Claris (Levingston) Wilson, 69, of the Kansas City Northland, and formerly of Excelsior Springs, passed away August 7, 2019, at NorthCare Hospice House.   Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm, followed by a service celebrating Nancy's life at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, August 11, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 North State Route 291, Liberty. Private interment in Glenridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to NorthCare Hospice House.

Nancy was born February 24, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Wesley and Maxine (Parsons) Levingston. Her mother preceded her in death. Nancy worked many years as an interpreter and addiction counselor for DeafHope. Most recently she worked as a video relay interpreter for the deaf for Sorenson Video Relay Service. Nancy was a member of Gashland Baptist Church and CODA (Children of Deaf Adults).

Survivors include her four sons, Eric Wilson, Mark Wilson, Scott Wilson and Craig Wilson (Leesa); daughter-in-law, April Wilson; and 11 grandchildren. She also leaves her father, Wesley Levingston (Janet); sisters, Penny Nystrom and Sheri Plummer; brother, Bernie Valdez; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
