Lena T. Wily

Lena Toli Fuimaono Wily, 75, of Independence, Missouri, peacefully crossed over into Heaven on December 10th, 2022. She was surrounded by all of her children, grandchildren, her sister and some of her nieces and nephews.

Lena was born on August 27, 1947 to Toli and Fese’e Ta’i Fuimaono, in the village of Mapusaga, American Samoa. She was the 5th born child in their family of 10 children.

Lena was predeceased by both of her parents, and 7 of her 9 siblings. She is survived by her her sisters Vaisaulu Ilaoa and Pei’u Piutau, her children, Chrish Wily and wife Brooke Wily, Filesi and husband Fileki Maluia, Lena Wily, and Vaisaulu Key and husband Alo Key; her 20 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a huge legacy, full of life and love.

The family service will be 9AM, with a Bishop service to follow at 11AM on Monday, December 19 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 705 N. Walnut, Independence, Missouri 64050; burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.
