Patricia C. Winfield

September 10, 1943 — November 28, 2020

Patricia C. Winfield, age 77, affectionately known as 'Jo' left this earthly realm on the eve of November 28th, 2020. She transitioned peacefully at home surrounded by her children.

She always provided support and love for everyone and enjoyed life to the fullest while enjoying her hobbies of skilled sewing, crafting & bowling. She worked tirelessly as a widowed mother to provide opportunities for her children and foster children prior to retiring from the Kansas City Public School District in a managerial position. She had a cheerful personality which always made people around her laugh even when she used her favorite quote “Don’t Make Me Cut You”.

Patricia is preceded in death by husband Leroy Winfield Jr, one sister and one brother. She is survived by six siblings, three daughters Deanna Winfield, Denise Winfield, Dthenee Abercrombie, two sons Leroy Winfield III, Lorrell Winfield, three foster daughters, Roxanne Pride, Renee Mitchell, Quantella Carrier and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and her two bonded dogs “Paris & Bobby” whom all loved her dearly.
