Betty J. Yates

Betty J. Yates, age 93, died on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in NorthCare Hospice House. She was born May 18, 1925 to Sylvia Mann and Oren Smith in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was the youngest of two children. She married her loving husband, Ross Yates, on August 28, 1947, they had two beautiful daughters together. She spent her life being an amazing wife and mother, spreading joy wherever she went. Left to remember her love are Betty's two daughters, Roslyn Gaines and Linda Wilcox, her two grandsons, Michael Gaines and Patrick Gaines, her 11 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren including her newest great great grandson, Donald Wayne VanBebber. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her sister. She will be greatly missed.
