Betty Ann York

Betty Ann York, 70, of the Kansas City Northland, passed away January 26, 2021, at North Kansas City Hospital.

Betty was born May 4, 1950, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Dorvel Murphy and Thelma Love Murphy. She was a graduate of North Kansas City High School. Betty retired from Station (now Ameristar) Casino.

Along with her parents, Betty was preceded in death by sisters, Billie Andrews and Brenda McNeil. Survivors include her children, Michelle West and Richard West; granddaughters, Amanda West and Melissa West; great granddaughters, Annabelle Curtis and Paige West; sister, Barbara Clark; and several nieces and nephews.

Betty was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, helping and caring for her family in any way she could. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
